What is the United Nations Pilgrimage for Youth?

This program selects high school students from all over world and shows them the United Nations in action. The tour of the United Nations building includes behind-the-scenes briefings conducted by specialized agencies and departments.

In addition to five days in New York that include the tour of the UN and visits to other significant sites in that city, the itinerary often includes tours of Washington DC, the Gettysburg battlefield, Niagra Falls, Ottawa Ontario, and Boston depending on the year. The United Nations Pilgrimage lasts two weeks during the months of June or July and there are four different sessions.
